Shifts to Clean Energy

The Legonian oil industry is shifting towards clean energy in the next 5 years as part of its effort to reduce pollution.

The Legonian Oil Company (LOC) will install solar panels on all its buildings, and will also invest more in clean energy production.

The LOC's shift to clean energy is subsidised by the Royal Party government of Legonia. Prime Minister Sir Winston Mofty has placed a priority on clean energy since coming into office.

Mofty has officially declare that Legonia will have 75% of her energy produce by clean energy.

The Legonian government is currently working on a massive economic package to lift the Legonian economy. Media sources said that the economic package will focus more on clean energy.

"I think more subsidies will be provided to businesses to shift to clean energy", said Jan Jong, an economic expert with the largest investment firm in the Bricks region, Sharman Brothers and Uncles.

There are reports that LOC will began to produce electric vehicles in the next 2 years. It will also open two large solar panel farms for power generation.

​However, LOC has so far refused to confirm or deny the reports.
