Last Minute Peace Talk in Malatia To Avert War

The Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Lego had met with the Special Representative of Chancellor Klump of Malatia in a last minute attempt to avert war between Malatia and regional countries.

Their meeting took place in White Palace, the official residence of Chancellor Klump.

Kingdom of Lego Modern Warships Arrives In Equanter

In a boost to Equanterian defence, the Kingdom of Lego has despatched two of its large modern warships to be based in the small kingdom.

RLS Repel and RLS Prince of Walea have arrived at the new modern Royal Naval Base in the Eqaunterian capital city of De Quan. These warships are equipped to deal with aircraft and missile attack, along with anti-submarine warfare capability.

Equanterian Reserve Regiments Fully Mobilised

The Armed Forces of Equanter (AFE) has officially formed the 5th AND 6th King's Reserve Regiments (KRR) made up of citizen volunteers .

In an official ceremony yesterday, King William II, accompanied by the Prime Minister, had visited troops from the 5th and 6th KRR at Fort Lego.

Equanter Steps Up Preparations For War

The Equanterian Parliament was briefed yesterday by the Prime Minister on the Equanterian preparation for possible war with Malatia.

The Prime Minister had assured Parliament that Equanter is sufficiently prepared to repel any invasion by Malatia.
