Ban on All Political Parties: Return to Totalitarianism

Former civilian cabinet members and also members of the Republic National Assembly are believed to be detained in the infamous prison P-21.

The Malatian military had tightened its grip over Malatia after the recent coup against the Republic National Assembly and other civilian leaders.

The coup had also centralised power in the hand of President Xitin, as all 100 members of the Republic National Assembly, along with civilian cabinet members, are being detained in the infamous P-21 prison in central Maltia.  

The Malatian Army launched the coup in response to the Assembly's challenging the recent mass arrest of former politicians, ex military commanders and business leaders.  President Xitin has also directed for the Assembly to be abolished, and all political posts to be held by the military.

Radio Malatia has also announced that all political parties have been banned in Malatia, giving the reason that political stability in the country has been affected by politicians. The military government has also announced a ban of gathering of more than 3 peoples in large cities.

Regional countries have expressed concerns about the complete military takeover of the Malatian government.  Legonia has issued a statement calling for a peaceful transfer of power and the respect of law.  Kingdom of Suva and Equanter have also called for the new military government to respect international law. Both kingdoms have been invaded and occupied by Malatia.

Meanwhile inside Malatia, preparations have been made for the ceremony to announce Xitin as President for Life. With the Republic National Assembly being abolished, the Malatian army announced that the country will be ruled by Presidential decrees.
