Breaking News - Hytler Died, Klump Took Over

Radio Malatia announced that General Hytler, the Supreme Leader of Malatia, had died early this morning.

The broadcast also annouced that Lt-General Evilo Klump has taken over the leadership of the country with immediate effect.

According to Radio Malatia, General Hytler had died around midnight. Sources indicated however there were heavy exchanges of gunfire around Whaste Palace, the official residence of the Malatian Supreme Leader,  late last night.

The Malatian Defence Ministry has released this statement: " This morning, crooked elements from regional countries have attacked Whaste Palace and assassinated our beloved Supreme Leader, General Hytler. The brave men of the Malatian Army had crushed the attackers. With immediate effect, Lt-General Evilo Kump is our Supreme Leader now, and he is hereby promoted to the rank of General".

The streets around Maltia, the capital of Malatia, was eerily quiet. The were massive movements of troops. Roadblocks were set up and several government officials working with General Hytler were arrested. 

Some observers claimed that this could be a coup by the Malatian military to depose General Hytler. Elements of the military, led by Lt-General Klump, has disagreed with General Hytler's peace agreement with regional countries.
