Brickvids Virus Pandemic Is Contained

Medical staff in protective equipment rescued a man suspected to be infected with the non-stop sneezing Brickvids-19 virus.

As the rate of infection from Brickvids-19 virus has slowed down, regional countries have decided to continue to seal their borders in order to fight the spread of the pandemic.

The Kingdom of Brikvania  meanwhile has requested the Kingdom of Legonia for financial assistance as the Brikvanian economy has suffered tremendously from the border closures in the region.

King Brik II of Brikvania has spoken to King Arius of Legonia by phone last night, requesting  King Arius for a $500 million Brick dollars financial assistance and supply of personal protective equipment. 

There are only 350 infected patients in Brikvanian hospitals, but as the kingdom has only 3 hospitals with some 400 beds, the Brikvanian military plans to build a temporary hospital in the capital city, Briktown.

Medical experts across the region, including Malatia, have reported that less people have been infected by the virus, and the sealing of borders in the region is working.

Several labs in the region are also working on vaccines and treatment for patients infected with the virus, although it seems cold vanilla ice-cream could be the magic bullet.

Meanwhile in Malatia, the Malatian government has dispatched 200 military medical staff to Brikvania to assist the small kingdom in its fight against the pandemic. 

"We are in this challenge together. Our military has the best medical facilities and skills, and we could help neighbouring countries",  said Field Marshal Nutyubrick, the Head of State of Malatia.

Another 100 Malatian medical military staff were sent to Equanter last weekend. Equanter has welcomed the Malatian military assistance. 

According to Professor Birus Valecdo, Head  of Combined Anti Virus Task Force of the  region, a vaccine could be found soon. 

"Our lab in Malatia managed to establish the connection between vanilla ice cream and potential treatment and vaccine against the virus", said Professor Valecdo.

He added: " I think by next week we will be alright once the vaccine and treatment is found. Cheers".
