Castonian Farming Industry Set To Grow

The Principality of Castonia has signed a trade agreement with Equanter. The trade agreement allows Castonia to export cottons, corns and carrots to Equanter.

​Dubbed the 3Cs Agreement,  it is hoped the exports of these products will prevent the collapse of the Castonian economy.

Castonia is expected to export 10 tonnes of cotton, carrots and corns to Equanter every 3 months. In return, Equanter will provide subsidised electrical supply to Castonia.

Castonian farmers welcome the agreement. The farmers will be able to sell their products to more market. Currently, 90% of the Castonian exports go to Malatia.

The Castonian government is worried that Malatia could exert political control as long as it depends on Malatia for income.  The rise of President Xitin is another factor that worries the Castonians.

"It is an open secret that Xitin disagreed with Nutyubrick, the former Malatian leader, about Castonia being independence", said a regional security observer.  The modernisation of the Malatian military also worries the Castonians as they do not have any army at all.
