Crime Boss El Loco Busted

Crime godfather El Loco, the head of the Logo drug cartel in Maname, was busted in a joint military-police operation last night in a mansion outside Maname.

Equanterian police, assisted by their Kingdom of Lego counterparts, were backed by Equanterian commando units during the operation.

The mansion where El Loco was busted from is located about 4 km outside Maname.  At about 5 am in the morning, Equanterian Commandos stormed the mansion after overpowering El Loco men in a fierce gunfight. Some 45 gang members were killed and another 80 arrested.

El Loco and his bodyguards were cornered in the upper floor of the mansion, and after a brief firefight, the Equanterian commandos shot and killed the bodyguards before they detained El Loco, who was found hiding in a cupboard.

The Equanterian police and commando units had also rescued the kidnapped Mayor of Maname during the operations. The police also discovered some 200 guns and hundreds of packages believed to be drugs from the Mansion.

"This is the end of the El Loco gang. We wiil charge him in court within 24 hours," said the Police Comissioner.

El Loco is currently being detained in a secret location and will be delivered to the Royal State Court tomorrow to be officially charged for crimes.
