Economic Assistance for Brikvanian Farmers

The Royal Brikvanian Government (RBG) has announced additional budget to help out local farmers to improve their products.

$5 million Brick Dollars have been set aside to help farmers to get better fertilizers and soil.

Brikvanian farmers operate small farms, and could not compete with farmers from neighbouring countries. Most of the equipment for farming is outdated. Many farmers are still using horses instead of machinery.

The King's economic advisers have recommended that Brikvania could produce more flowers for export as the local soil is suitable for flowers. Currently, local farmers export vegetables to the Kingdom of Lego. But with the current disputes between the Kingdom of Lego and Brikvania, exports to the Kingdom of Lego have been affected.

Brikvania could not import latest farming machinery, after the Kingdom of Lego imposed export restrictions on technology to the Kingdom.

Many local farmers are excited that they have accessed to the farming fund for their business.

"Once I have completely harvest the current crop, I will plant flowers for export to other countries," said a farmer in Legolis Province.
