Rebels forces from the Inglorious State in Lego (ISIL) inflicted heavy losses on government forces in a ferocious surprise attacks on all fronts. Equanterian troops were caught by surprise and had to retreat towards Maname after suffering heavy casualties and failing to stop the rebels from overrunning several government forward positions.
Two planes from the Royal Equanterian Air Force were dispatched to assist the retreating ground troops, but one of the T-34 planes was shot down by anti-aircraft missile manned by the rebels. About 20 Equanterian armoured vehicles were destroyed by rebel forces equipped with modern anti tank weapons.
The presence of anti-aircraft and anti-tank weapons within the rebel forces tilted the balance of power against the small Equanterian army. It is believed the Malatian armed forces has supplied the high tech weapons to the rebels to fight off advances made by the Equanterian army.
