Equanterian Parliament Debates Over War Preparation

The Equanterian Parliament held an urgent session last night to discuss the worsening security conditions in the region, especially since Malatia has withdrawn from the peace agreement with regional countries.

The Equanterian Prime Minister had assured parliament that the country's armed forces is able to meet any threat.

Referring to the state of the armed forces, the Prime Minister announced the formation of two reserve battalions to support the four regular battalions.  The Prime Minister stated: " We have the 1st and 2nd King's Own Regiment backed by the 3rd and 4th Queen's Regiment, one support battalion and a commando unit. I have approved the formation of two King's Reserve Regiments to support our armed forces."

Equanterian Defence Ministry has also announced the delivery of new missiles for the Equanterian warplanes. Along the border with Malatia, Equanterian troops have also deployed barbed wire and fences to prevent intrusions from Malatia..

In a heated debate in Parliament, the Prime Minister has also announced that the country would buy two new warships costing $120 million EQ Dollars from the Kingdom of Lego.
