Equanterian Reserve Regiments Fully Mobilised

The  Armed Forces of Equanter (AFE) has officially formed the 5th AND 6th King's Reserve Regiments (KRR) made up of citizen volunteers .

In an official ceremony yesterday, King William II, accompanied by the Prime Minister, had visited troops from the 5th and 6th KRR at Fort Lego.

"The region is now facing threat from regional power who has threatened the existence of many kingdoms," said His Excellency King William II. "The set up of additional infantry battalions for the Equanterian Army will provide our Kingdom with additional security, " added His Excellency.

All KRR members are volunteers. Many are holding full time jobs such cooks, lawyers, professionals, technician and others.

" I volunteer to join the Army KRR battalion to defend our Kingdom against Malatian threat," said Mr Georgie Goo, who is a full-time lawyer in the city of  De Quan.

The KRR will be mobilised in the event of extreme threats to the kingdom.  Members of the KRR have undergone 4 weeks of basic military training, after which they have to undergo another 4 weeks of specialised training program.

The 5th KRR is based in the capital De Quan, while the 6th KRR is based in the 2nd largest city of Maname.
