Foreign Embassies to Evacuate As Rebels Close In

The Legonian and Suvanese embassies in Briktown have announced that they will scale down they diplomatic presence in the capital city of Brikvania as the security in B the small kingdom worsened.

The withdrawal of foreign embassies will likely lead to increase panic amongst the Brikvanians.

Meanwhile The Legonian Foreign Affairs Ministry announced that it will reduce its staff in Briktown by more than 80% government. The Kingdom of Suva said that it is suspending its diplomatic presence in Brikvania pending an improvement in the security situation.

As of now, only the Equanterian Embassy has clearly stated its intent to stay put in Briktown.

The announcement by the Legonian and Suvanese embassies led to crowd build-up at the Equanterian Embassy seeking visa to fly to Equanter. The Brikvanian Police were dispatched to push back the crowd that had gathered outside the embassy.

In the capital itself, the number of refugees have swelled. They have come from the countryside which has been overrun by the rebels.

Meanwhile in Legotown, members of the Non-Aggression Royalists Treaty Organisation (NARTO) are meeting to discuss the worsening security situation in Brikvania.  In the last regional war, NARTO forces had invaded and occupied Brikvania, then part of Malatia.

The Kingdom of Brikvania was created by NARTO as a buffer state against Malatia. NARTO then helped to build the Brikvanian military.

Sources from the NARTO meeting said that Equanter is pushing for a military intervention in Brikvania to save the government from a total collapse.  Other NARTO countries, including Legonia, have so far remained uncommitted. 

Equanter's representative to NARTO was unhappy that Legonia and Suva will reduce their diplomatic presence in Brikvania, instead of providing the kingdom with military assistance.

In Equanter itself, the Equanterian government is considering deploying troops to Briktown. However, the aim of the mission remains a secret.

Meanwhile at the frontline, new Brikvanian Defence Minister General Nutyubrick has been visiting Brikvanian forces' outposts to inspect frontline troops.  Nutyubrick has recently withdrawn a large number of government troops from the frontline closer to the capital city.

"This is a strategic retreat. You will know what will happen to the rebels in due course", said Nutyubrick to reporters.
