Former Ministers Sentenced to Prison

Several former Ministers in Malatia that were arrested for corruptions have been sentenced by a Malatian Military Court to 10 years imprisonment. 

The Ministers had served under former Malatian leader Nutyubrick.  Observers believed their imprisonment reflects efforts by the current Malatian President Xitin to tighten his hold on power.

President Xitin has ordered the mass arrest of 200 military leaders and politicians that had served under Nutyubrick.  Also arrested were some top Malatian business leaders. 

There were reports that the Malatian business leaders were forced to donate $1 billion Bricks dollars each to Xitin's personal bank account before being released. A Malatian spokesman denied the reports, claiming they are fake news.

President Xitin has also ordered the limit of internet traffic in Malatia. The Malatian government has also shut down access to several internet sites that criticise Xitin.

Regional countries are worried about Xitin's march to totalitarianism.  "The last major regional war was launched by Evilo Klump, the former Malatian leader. He pushed for a totalitarian state that led to a major war across the Bricks world", said a political observer.

"Xitin is arming the Malatian military for a total war again. We can expect another war soon," he added.
