Frontline Stabilises in Brikvania

There have been less fighting Brikvania between Malatian forces and Briknavian troops since the past three months.

While Malatian troops have swept into the Malatian Province of Brikvania, they have been pushed back by the Brikvanian forces at several fronts.

In fact, the Brikvanian and Malatian governments have announced an unofficial ceasefire along the contact line. 

Sources said that the more than 10 months war between Brikvania and Malatia has cost about 20,000 lives, and damages in infrastructures in Brikvania being estimated at about $5 billion Bricks dollars.

The lull in fighting has encouraged many Brikvanians who fled overseas during the initial days of the war to return home.

The Brikvanian Royal Government has also begun repair works across the capital city, Briktown. Some $5 million Brick dollars are set aside to repair damaged waterworks and electrical lines. 

Against all odd, the Brikvanian military have performed well against the Malatians, despite the lack of equipment. The army has expanded to about 100,000 strong, including local and foreign volunteers.
