King Brik Goes on TV to Reassure Nation

​King Brik II has delivered a speech to the Kingdom of Brikvania last night, reassuring his subjects that peace will be at hand even as threats and war of words are taking place between Brikvania and the Kingdom of Lego.

"My dear subjects. We are in a crisis but we shall weather these difficulties. The Royal Family has looked into ways to improve our farmers' income, and to create more jobs even when there is an economic sanction from our powerful neighbour", announced the King.

Flanked by Prince Aragon, Minister in Charge of Defence and Internal Security, King Brik II said that it was necessary for him to reassure his subjects that Brikvania is safe. 

"We are building up our own army, and soon the navy and air force too. We can defend against any hostile power", added King Brik II.

Tension is rising between Kingdom of Lego and Brikvania over the Legos refusal to remove its troops from Legolis Province in Brikvania. 

Hundreds of Brikvanian troops have surrounded Camp Lyxor in Legolis Province, where 500 Legos troops are currently based. The UN peacekeepers in Brikvania is intervening for a peaceful resolution.
