King Brik II Paid Homage to Legolis Home Guards

King Brik II gave compliment to members of the 1st Regiment of the Legolis Province Home Guards  during his surprise visit to Dienne Barrack in the Legolis Province  yesterday afternoon.

The visit is part of King Brik II's review of defence positions around the kingdom in response to the recent military conflict with the Kingdom of Lego.

The Legolis Province Home Guards have proven their mettle in the short war with the Kingdom of Lego.  

Although equipped with only rifles and anti-tank weapons, these troops managed to put up stiff resistance and caused high number of casualties among the Legos troops.

The majority of the Home Guards troops are part-timers. They are doctors, lawyers and farmers who are staying in Legolis Province. The majority of them are ethnic Legos.

"I am here to thank members of the Legolis Home Guards for their contributions to the defence of our kingdom. They fought well", said King Brik in his speech to the troops.

" I have asked the Defence Ministry to review again our defence posture. We must have a more united and better military than before",  King Brik II added.

On the tension with the Kingdom of Lego, King Brik II said the impeachment of former Kingdom of Lego Prime Minister Rito Wingo  was a positive step towards peace.

"I have a good relation with King Arius of the Kingdom of Lego. It was his Prime Minister that wanted war, not the Royal Family", said King Brik II.

Meanwhile, Brown Castle announced that the Kingdom of Lego has invited King Brik II to attend a peace talk in the Kingdom of Lego.  King Brik II's spokesman confirmed that King Brik II will meet with King Arius in Legotown.
