King Brik Officially Appointed As Head of State

King Brik II is now the official Head of State and Government of the Kingdom of Brikvania.

In a large ceremony yesterday, King Brik II has officially ascended the Royal Throne of Brikvania.

As the Head of State and Government, King Brik II has absolute control over the Kingdom.

The ascension ceremony was well attended by regional monarchs and leaders. The Malatian Government however refused to send any delegation as it still claim Brikvania to be part of Malatia.

After the ascension ceremony, the guests were treated with food and fireworks around Brown Castle, the seat of the Brikvanian Government.

Security was tight throughout the country, and Brikvanian security forces closed down four official border crossing points with Malatia in the past 48 hours for security reasons.

The Kingdom of Brikvania is a federated country with three provinces. Only the provinces of Legolis and Malatian have elected provincial officials, but they possess powers limited to their own province.

The Brik Province, where the capital city is located, does not have elected officials, with the King and his Royal Family taking charge of the Kingdom's affairs.
