King Visited Defence Ministry: More Budget for Defence

King Brik II visited the Royal Ministry of Defence and the Armed Forces of Brikvania High Command HQ yesterday afternoon.

The visit was part of King Brik II's tours of defence and security facilities in the Kingdom.

King Brik II was hosted by Prince Aragon, the Minister in Charge of Defence and Internal Security.

"In view of a worsening security condition in the region, King Brik II's visit to the Armed Forces of Brikvania (AFBv) HQ reflects his concern on security", said a Royal Palace's spokesman.

King Brik was briefed by members of AFBv on the security situation across the region. The Defence Ministry confirmed that Brikvania will purchased 200 armoured vehicles from the Kingdom of Fabu, which had agreed to supply Brikvania with arms.

Beside the armoured vehicles, 8 patrol vessels have been purchased for the new navy. Four of the vessels will be equipped with anti-ship missiles.

​"I have agreed to increase the defence budget by 10%", said King Brik II.

After a tour of the Defence Ministry, King Brik II was entertained with an army band performance and a feast of fried chicken and donuts.
