Kingdom of Equanter's Election Campaigning Ends

Prime Minister Anton meeting her supporters on the last day of campaigning.

The current Equanterian Prime Minister Marie Anton from the Royal Party of Equanter (RPE) is poised to win the Kingdom's General Election.

​Polls before voting stars show her RPE party will win 90% of the seats in Parliament.

The Kingdom of Equanter is holding a General Election soon. Only two parties are participating in the upcoming election. The current Prime Minister, Marie Anton, is from the governing Royal Party of Equanter (RPE). The other party is the Workers' Union, which is made up of unknown minifigures.

Polls show that the RPE under Anton will sweep into power, winning some 90% of the 45 seats in Parliament. The RPE has been governing Equanter since independence. 

On the last day of campaigning, Prime Minister Anton visited her supporters at Cent Ridge, outside the capital city of De Quan. 

She told her supporters that the RPE will fight to improve their lives and local economies. 

"Our party will work with the monarchy to ensure we have a better life, a better economy and a better environment", said Anton to her supporters. 

The Royal Family in Equanter has enormous political power. All government bills must be endorsed by the King. Furthermore, the King has the power to sack the Prime Minister.

Meanwhile, the Royal Family announced that Prime Minister Anton is their preferred candidate.
