Kingdom of Fabu Increases Welfare Budget

King Fabus Tutus of the Kingdom of Fabu announced a massive increment in welfare budget.

His Highness King Tutus made the annoucement on Royal Channel 1 of Fabu TV last night. In his speech, King Tutus also declared his support for Equanter's territorial integrity against Malatian aggression.

In his speech, His Highness King Tutus touched on the income gap. "We must ensure there is no large income gap, and all Fabus must have access to a good education, health and job system."

"The Royal Government led by my son Fabus Tutus II will ensure we have good hospitals and universities. More money will be spent on welfare too."

Touching on the tension in the region, King Fabus said: " Malatia is an aggressor and we will support Equanter in any war with Malatia. The Fabuland Defence Force (FDF) is ever ready to support our fellow Royal Family."

"Our defence budget will increase by 10% so that our army has the latest weapon to fight any aggressor," added King Tutus.

The Kingdom of Fabu is a medium size country and is surrounded in the south by the Kingdom of Lego and to the east by the Kingdom of Equanter. It has a population of 5 million people and its economy is vibrant.

The FDF is about 80,000 strong, with about 70,000 ground troops, 6,000 naval personnel and 4,000 in the air force. It has modern equipment which are comparable to the Kingdom of Lego military.
