Kingdom of Lego Fully Liberated - Next Stop Malatia

The last pockets of Malatian resistance in the Kingdom of Lego have been wiped out.  50,000 Malatian troops have either been killed or captured in the city of Lon, the eastern city in the Kingdom of Lego, which is located close to the Malatian border.

The collapse of the Malatian central front meant that troops from the Royal Armed Forces of Lego (RAFL) have fully secured the kingdom's territory.  With the liberation of Equanter and Kingdom of Lego from the occupying forces, the attention has now shifted to a possible invasion of Malatia, which has some 200,000 men under arms.

International pressures have been mounting for the ongoing regional war to end quickly. However, NARTO officials believed that a long lasting peace is only possible with a regime change inside Malatia. Plans have already been made for the invasion and occupation of Malatia.

"The current Malatian leadership has only one aim, which is to achieve regional dominance at the expense of other countries. Peace is impossible as long as they have a mindset of Greater Malatia," said an Equanterian military observer.

Leaders from NARTO countries have met secretly in the past few weeks to coordinate the invasion of Malatia, and also for the post-war plan. There have been talks of partitioning Malatia into two countries by reviving the old kingdom of Brikvania, which is now part of western Malatia.

Meanwhile inside Malatia, war preparation is being made across the country. Night-time curfews have been declared and all street lights have been switched off at night. The Malatian military have been stockpiling ammunition and food in anticipation of a long war.
