Kingdom of Lego To Deploy Thousands of Troops In Equanter

The Kingdom of Lego will start deploying Legos troops in Equanter to support Equanterian troops in the war against the rebels. The announcement was made in a joint statement by both the Prime Ministers of Equanter and Kingdom of Lego, following an historical signing of defence agreement between the two countries.

The signing of the "Alliance Treaty" allows the deployment of additional Kingdom of Lego troops to Equanter, an addition to the current deployment of 100 Special Forces Lego troops supporting and training local Equanterian forces against the Malatian supported rebellion.

It is believed that the treaty was signed in view of the Malatian threat to regional security.  It is believed Malatia has supported the rebels in Equanter, and tried to undermine Equanter's sovereignty.

The Kingdom of Lego has signed several military alliance treaties with Kingdom of Fabu, Kingdom of Suva and Kingdom of Caledonia Neutral Territory recently, in the wake of Malatian military aggression in the region.

"We cannot depend on any external power or super powers to assist us in any military conflict," said the Equanterian Prime Minister in a joint press conference with his Kingdom of Lego counterpart.

"The Alliance Treaty will allow all the Royal Kingdoms to assist one another during a military conflict.  The treaty allows the Kingdom of Lego to deploy one infantry and one armoured division into Equanter as soon as possible."

Malatia has condemned the Alliance and will view the Alliance as a security threat to its border.
