Kingdom of Lego Troops Moved Into Equanter

Elite Lion Brigade special forces landed at Royal Equanter Airport at 1 am last night.

The Royal Armed Forces of Lego Kingdom (RAFL) has deployed 15,000 of its troops in Equanter. The deployment of RAFL troops comes about shortly after the signing of the "Alliance Treaty" between Kingdom of Lego and Equanter.

The RAFL troops will be deployed to assist Equanterian forces to fight the rebels in the kingdom civil war. The Armed Forces of Equanter (AFE) has failed to dislodge the rebels from their positions in the Eastern Province despite launching a major military offensive recently. A total of 1,500 AFE troops have been killed or wounded in the one month battle against the rebels from Inglorious State in Lego (ISIL),

The Lego troops moved into Equanter at 1 am last night. The first unit to arrive was the elite Lion Brigade, a crack paratroopers unit forming the core of the Kingdom of Lego Special Forces. 1,000 Lion Brigade troops landed in Royal Equanter Airport in a special chartered flight, and they were quickly dispatched to Maname, the provincial capital in Eastern Province which is under threat from the rebels.

Meanwhile, about 100 RAFL armoured vehicles and tanks crossed the border via two border crossings between Equanter and Kingdom of Lego, before moving towards the Eastern Province. They will provide supports to AFE forces fighting to dislodge the rebel forces from the province.

A resident living near a border crossing spoke to Equanterian News 9 on the RAFL troops movement - " I heard tanks and armoured vehicles rumbling through the street in front of my house. I can count more than 40 tanks and thousands of Kingdom of Lego troops moving across the border. The sight was scary."

A Kingdom of Lego Defence spokesman said more troops will arrive into Equanter within the next few days to support Equanter troops in their civil war. A dozen modern warplanes from the Royal Air Force of Legoland (RLAF) have been forward deployed in airbases near to Equanter to support Lego ground troops.
