Kingdom of Legonia - A New Name for the Kingdom

Security is tight at the Royal Palace. King Arius is seen to tighten his grip on the kingdom with the change of the kingdom's name to Legonia.

The Kingdom of Lego will officially adopt a new name come 1st May. The change of name has been proposed by King Arius and approved by the Royal Constitutional Court.

The kingdom will be known as the Kingdom of Legonia, to reflect the fact that many ethnic groups have placed their roots in the kingdom.   

'The Royal Constitutional Court has also banned the Legos First Party (LFP) and ordered the seizure of all its assets. 

Most political parties have supported the move to change the name of the kingdom. " What is more important is that we unite as a kingdom", said My Softy Lofty of the Royal Green Party.

Observers however are concerned that the Royal Family led by King Arius is tightening its political grip over the kingdom. " Although Wingo is a really foolish and ill-tempered Prime Minister, he was a check to the King's power", said a former member of the LFP.

The Crown Prince has assured the public that the Royal Family will work with the United Nations to ensure a new power structure suitable for the kingdom. 

"The election will be free and fair, and the Prime Minister is still answerable to the Parliament and the King.", said the Crown Prince.

Meanwhile throughout the kingdom, preparations are being made to mark the official changeover of the kingdom's name.
