Kingdom of Legonia Became Official

Big celebrations and ceremonies are held throughout the Kingdom to mark the official change of name from the Kingdom of Lego to Kingdom of Legonia.

A military parade was held in front of then Royal Palace and nighttime fireworks took place at the centre of the capital city, Legotown. 

"Today we mark a new beginning of our Kingdom. We will go for more prosperity and peace of our time", announced his Excellency King Arius.

Some 5,000 troops took part in a parade in front of the Royal Palace. There were about 20,000 spectators. 

Royal families from all regional countries were present too. However no representative from Malatia was present.  

King Arius also welcomed King Brik II of Brikvania to join the Non-Aggression Royal Treaty Organisation (NARTO), the regional security  grouping. So far Brikvania has chosen neutrality.

In another news, Equanter has reported an outbreak of a strange virus that has affected 100 people in a small town of Wubrick in the central highland of the kingdom. It is suspected that the virus came from contaminated bricks used for housing projects.

The Equanterian government has announced that a new military hospital will be built near the town of Wubrick, the epicentre of the virus pandemic.
