Klump Tightens Grip On Power: Opponents Jailed

General Evilo Klump has tightened his grip on power in Malatia. Hundrerds of Hytler's loyalists were arrested in the past 48 hours, with many being thrown into prison without trial.

Military units are still manning roadblocks and checkpoints throughout the capital city of Maltia, while the international airport has come under military control.

Klump has already sacked the entire cabinet and is likely to bring his own loyalists into the new government. He has already closed down a Malatian tabloid that had questioned the circumstances behind the death of General Hytler.

The official Malatian line is that General Hytler was killed by agents from regional countries. However reports now emerge that he was killed in his residence by soldiers led by General Klump. The fate of General Hytler's family is unknown yet.

In the past 48 hours, 4 cabinet members and 10 head of Malatian military branches were arrested.  Those arrested are known to be Hytler's loyalists, and who had been pressing for peace agreement with regional countries. It is believed Klump is in favour of waging war across the region, so anyone puyrsuing peace must be dealt with,
