Latest MOC News Channel Launched

The Kingdom of Brikvania has launched a cable news network to challenge regional TV channels currently dominated by the Kingdom of Lego.

The Brikvanian Broadcasting Service (BBS) is a news channel dedicated to combat fake news from regional countries.

In a speech delivered during the launch of BBS last night, King Brik II highlighted the need for real news to fight fake news and propaganda from regional countries.

"Our Kingdom is young and multi cultural. But we have neighbours who want to claim our territories as theirs," said King Brik II. He added: "We need a good news channel to unite our people."

Brikvania is facing economic pressures from Kingdom of Lego, which claimed the Legolis Province as its territory. Prime Minister Wingo of the Kingdom of Lego has also threatened military action to claim the Legolis Province of Brikvania.

The BBS will be on air tonight and the first program is called "Kingdom of Lego in crisis: Wingo and his corrupt family". According to the producer, Wingo, his son and son-in-law have been receiving money from the underworld to support their property and casino businesses. 

The program also claims that Wingo and his family members have close ties with El Chapone, the notorious drug lord who is currently in prison.

The Kingdom of Lego's embassy in Brikvania has condemned the program. "The story by BBS against Prime Minister Wingo is a fake news . I urged King Brik II to exercise caution and not to play with fire, because the fire will burn him", said Ambassador Lia Wingos, a distant cousin of Prime Minister Wingo.

​Ambassador Wingos was appointed two days ago after the previous ambassador was sacked by Prime Minister Wingo.
