Legos Troops Captured Avalon: Brikvania Seeks Military Aid

Legos troops backed by the Avenger tanks during an offensive in Avalon, the main town in Legolis Province.

Legos troops have captured the Brikvanian town of Avalon located within the Legolis Province in the Kingdom of Brikvania.

The Kingdom of Lego's Defence Ministry announced the captured of Avalon in a press briefing this morning.

Legolis Province Home Guards have been defending the town of Avalon ever since the Kingdom of Lego invaded Legolis Province, which is part of Brikvania. Some 400 troops of the Legolis Home Guards put up stiff resistance, and had inflicted heavy losses on the Legos.

The fall of Avalon was greeted with glee and smiles by Prime Minister Rito Wingo of the Kingdom of Lego. 

"We have the most powerful military in the region.  I can send Brikvania to the stone age if I want to, but I am a good man", said Wingo during a media interview.

The fall of Avalon was confirmed by the Brikvanian Foreign Affairs Ministry. 

"Legolis Home Guards troops have pulled out from Avalon so that we can avoid collateral damages to innocent people," said a Brikvanian spokesman.

The fall of Avalon allowed the Legos troops to secure more than 50% of Legolis Province. Forward elements of the 4th Legos Infantry Division and 35th Armoured Regiment are now pushing towards the border of the province.

The Legolis Province Home Guards have retreated into the countryside, and have turned to guerrilla tactics to engage the Legos.

Meanwhile in Briktown, thousands of troops from the Armed Forces of Brikvania (AFBv) have assembled at the city main train station and bus depot to be transported to the frontline. 

"The AFBv will now spearhead the defence of our kingdom. AFBv troops will work together with the people of Legolis Province against the invaders," said Colonel Sir Cloney Brik, the Director of Joint Operations of AFBv.

King Brik II has officially requested the Malatian government to provide military aid to its small armed forces. The Malatian government has promised to provide anti-tank weapons to AFBv.
