Malatia Celebrates Armed Forces Day As War Intensifies

10,000 Malatian troops took part in a military parade yesterday to mark the Malatia's Armed Forces Day.

The parade took place as fighting along the war front has intensified recently, with the Malatians losing grounds on the northern, central and southern fronts.

In his speech during the parade, Chancellor Evilo Klump claimed that victory is at hand. "Our military is the strongest in the region. We have occupied Suva, most of Equanter and parts of the Kingdom of Lego. Our soldiers are now at the door step of the final victory and we shall make Malatia great," added Chancellor Klump.

The parade also saw Chancellor Klump announced the formation of the Capital Defence Command (CADCOM). The the primary duty of CADCOM is to defend the capital city of Maltia against any external attacks.

CADCOM is a 50,000 strong formation comprising of two divisions of the elite Rapid Deployment Force of 30,000 troops, backed by the elite 1st Armoured Division, 88th Mechanised Division and artillery formations. Some of the troops have already began building defensive fortifications around the Malatian capital city.

Chancellor Klump also announced the formation of the Magnito Defence Line Command (MAGCOM), comprising of 100,000 troops. Their main task is to manage and defend the fatherland's border stretching from the south to the north. Anti tank ditches and bunkers have already been built along the border.

Observers believed that the MAGCOM and CDC have been formed in the event the tide of war turns against Malatia. NARTO forces have managed to inflict losses on Malatian troops in recent days, and Malatia has already lost control of the sky.
