General Fork, Chairman of Malatia High Military Council and who is also the Defence Minister , announced: " The deployment of Malatian troops is within our sovereign right and a response to Equanter's military provocation near our border."
"Equanter forces have been brutal against the ethnic Malatians living in the Eastern Province. It is our right to ensure the security of all overseas Malatians. As of this morning, all 800,000 men and women of the Malatian Armed Forces have been put on alert. 10 Infantry and Mechanised Divisions have been mobilised and deployed close to Equanter's border."
General Fork refused to comment on reports that Malatian Army had trained and supplied weapons to ISIL (Inglorious State in Lego) forces.
Meanwhile, AFE (Armed Forces of Equanter) troops have been attempting to send reinforcements to reach Smallville, a town located 5 km from the Malatian border. The town is currently under siege by ISIL forces. Latest reports indicated the last two remaining villages outside Smallville have been captured by ISIL as of late this afternoon.
Heavy fighting are also taking place about 1 km from Smallville Town Centre as the AFE defenders have withdrew and regrouped to launch counter offensive against ISIL. Government forces are now fighting to secure the only route out of Smallville to the provincial capital, Maname.
