Malatia Introduces Hypersonic Missiles System

Peregrine-500 is the most advance missile system in the region.

President Xitin announced that Malatia has developed a hypersonic missile system capable to shoot down intruding warplanes and ships. 

Codenamed Peregrine-500, the missile system has a range of 300 km and could travel to a speed of up to Mach 5. 

The introduction of Peregrine-500 is a game changer as it allows the Malatian to target any intruding warplanes and warships easily as these missiles could not be detected and intercepted easily.

Observers believed that the system is still at developing state and it will be more than a year before it will be operational.

"Peregrine is a danger to the region. It puts the Legonian military in a vulnerable position in any future conflict", said retired Admiral George Kulm of the Naval Institute of Bricko Region.

Admiral Kulm added that Legonian stealth warplanes could still turn the tide of any future conflict against Malatia.

"Legonia has the most advanced air force in the region.  These warplanes could take out the Peregrine system during the initial point of conflict".

Sources said that Malatia is developing a surface-to-surface version of Peregrine that could reach all countries in the region.
