Malatian Forces At The Outskirts of Suvatown

Smokes billowing across Suvatown as Malatian troops have reached the outskirts of Suva capital city.

Malatian military ground units have reached the outskirts of Suvatown, the capital city of Suva Kingdom yesterday, after heaving fighting in the past 7 days.

Residents in Suvatown are now facing both artillery and air bombardment from Malatian forces.

Remnants of the Royal Suvanese  Army (RSA) have retreated into the Suvatown to form the last line of defence. Heavy fighting in the past 7 days have resulted in heavy losses for the ill-equipped Suvanese troops.

Malatian forces, using helicopter gunships, warplanes and artillery, have been pounding the ancient city of Suvatown. Many buildings have been destroyed, with water and food supply running low.

Malatian forces, spearheaded by 200 tanks and 500 armoured vehicles, have consistently outgunned the ill-equipped Suvanese Army, which is basically foot soldiers for the Royal Family of Suva. Having captured 80% of Suva countryside and all major towns, the capital city of Suvatown has been cut off from the rest of the country by Malatian forces.

Suvanese forces, which had been defending the second largest town of Suvaport, retreated to the capital city last night. 70 injured Suvanese troops have also been evacuated from the frontline to the Suva Royal General Hospital. The remnants of Suvanese forces, many whom had escaped from Suvaport, had formed the last defensive line around the besieged capital city.

According to the Suvanese Defence Ministry, "Our Suvanese troops have conducted strategic retreat to form a strong defensive line around our capital. We will be able to repel Malatian forces".

The task of defending Suvatown is impossible as the Suvanese troops are outnumbered 40 to 1.
