Malatian M-300 System Spotted in Brikvania

​Malatia has began the deployment of its M-300 air defence system in Brikvania. 

The M-300 system is being installed at the request of the Brikvanian government after two radar stations were damaged by suspected Legos air strikes a few weeks ago.

​The M-300 system is a mid-range Malatian air defence system capable to track and hit targets up to 70 km away. It has just been recently developed by the Malatian government to replace its obsolete air defence system that was destroyed during the last regional war.

Each M-300 unit has 2 launchers, and each of these launchers are equipped with 4 missiles. It is not known how many units were supplied to Brikvania but 2 units were seen around Brown Castle, the seat of the Brikvanian Government.

The Brikvanian Defence Ministry has not responded to enquiries and calls from the media on the deployment of the M-300 system in the Kingdom. 

The Kingdom of Lego has been critical of Brikvania's efforts to establish closer relations with Malatia. "NARTO countries are concerned that Brikvania is pushing for closer defence relations with Malatia", said a security expert.

Malatia has denied that it is establishing a security pact with Brikvania. "We are a friendly bunch of people and would prefer to create more equitable distribution of wealth and peace in the region", said Field Marshal Nutyubrick, the current Malatian leader.

Malatia has already supplied the new Brikvanian armed forces with anti-aircraft guns and anti-tank equipment. Brikvania's shift towards Malatia is taking place as the Kingdom of Lego exerts economic and military pressures to the small kingdom.

The Kingdom of Lego has reacted angrily to the deployment of M-300 system in Brikvania, and has put its troops along the border on high alert.  Prime Minister Wingo has pushed for a military strike inside Brikvania to punish the kingdom for buying Malatia's defence equipment.
