Malatian Military Offensive On Two Fronts

As of today, it is clear that Malatia is launching a major regional war after invading the Kingdoms of Suva, Equanter and Lego.

The major military offensive is undertaken by 400,000 troops backed by almost 2000 tanks. Malatia has the largest armed forces in the region.

According to observers, the Malatian offensive has been divided into 3 groups. Northern Army Command (NACOM) has been tasked to capture Equanter and push into the Kingdom of Fabu. The NAC is made up of 100,000 troops with 500 tanks and 800 armoured vehicles.

At the centre of the offensive is the Central Army Command (CEACOM). It is the largest formation and is tasked with capturing the areas along the Malatia-Lego border. CEACOM forces so far have advanced towards Fort Lego, which lies about 45 km from the Kingdom of Lego capital city. CEACOM has 250,000 troops backed by 1,200 tanks and 2000 armoured vehicles.

To protect the southern flank, Southern Army Command (SACOM) has been tasked to capture and annex the Lego city of Caslanca.  The 50,000 Malatian troops backed by 300 tanks and 500 armoured vehicles are facing 15,000 Kingdom of Lego soldiers fighting to defend Caslanca.

While the NACOM forces have a much easier task considering that the Equanter military is small, both the CEACOM and SACOM are facing formidable foes. The Kingdom of Lego's military possesses high tech and deadly equipment. In the battle for the central city of Lon, Malatia had lost 80 tanks and 5,000 troops killed during a single day battle. Lego troops had pullled back from Lon only because they had run out of ammunition.

The offensive has also left Malatia exposed. The Kingdom of Fabu and Caledon have substantial naval and marine forces that could be used to land behind the Malatian lines. So far the Kingdoms of Fabu and Caledon are not involved in the fighting yet.
