Malatian Military Set Up Radar System in Brikvania

Malatia has completed four radar stations across Brikvania. Two of the radar stations are located at the southern coast.

​The Brikvanian Defence Ministry announced that the Malatian military has assisted the kingdom to set up an extensive military radar system.

Brikvania currently does not have any air defence system. The four radar stations cost $8 million Bricks dollars, and is part of the $1.2 billion Bricks dollars military assistance program provided by Malatia to Brikvania.

The radar stations will allow Brikvania for the first time to monitor the air traffic in and around the kingdom. Currently the air traffic is being monitored by the Kingdom of Lego.

The radar stations are part of a project to enhance the air defence capability of the Brikvanian armed forces.

Malatia has also delivered twenty units of ZSU Mark-4 and Mark-8 anti-aircraft guns produced by the Malatian military. The Mark-4 and Mark-8 AA guns are more advance than the current AA guns operated by the Armed Forces of Brikvania (AFBv).

The Mark-4 could lock on targets electronically, and could hit enemies' warplanes up to 4 km away, while the Mark-8 can track and hit targets up to 8 km away. The current AA guns in Brikvania could only hit targets up to 2 km away.

Another 40 units of the ZSU Mark-4 and Mark-8 will be delivered within one month. 

The Kingdom of Lego has condemned the installation of Malatian military equipment in Brikvania. Prime Minister Rito Wingo sees Malatia as a threat to regional security, and is believed to be preparing for a war.

"We will take out these Malatian installations at a time of our choosing", said Wingo.
