Malatia's Official New Map Alarm Regional Kingdoms

A new official map launched by the Malatian government raised alarm throughout the region. 

The new official Malatian map showed Castonia and large parts of Suva and Brikvania to be under Malatian control.

Brikvania and Castonia were parts of Malatia before the last regional war ended. The defeat of Malatia in that war saw parts of its western territories annexed and given to Equanter and Suva. Brikvania was created a few months after the war ended, while Castonia was awarded independence by then Malatian leader Field Marshal Nutyubrick. 

The new map also indicates a large part of Brikvanian water to be under the Malatian control.

The Brikvanian and Suvanese government have called in the Malatian ambassadors in their respective kingdoms, demanding the map to be withdrawn. The Non-Aggression Royalists Treaty Organisation (NARTO), a regional security body, has also expressed its concerns about the new map.

Malatia has dismissed the protests and concerns, claiming that these territories are a natural part of Malatia.

"The reality is that the water around Brikvania has been the traditional fishing ground for Malatian fishermen. It is also a fact that Brikvania and Castonia were parts of Malatia until the imperialists tore our country to pieces", said a Malatian Foreign Affairs official.
