Military Parade In Malatia

A large military parade took place in the capital city of Malatia to commemorate the country's independence day.

Some 50,000 soldiers and police officers had taken part in the parade, which include mobile display of new military hardware.

Hundreds of tanks, armoured vehicles and other military equipment were displayed to the public in a show of strength. Observers believed the display of military might is a warning to regional countries to show respect to Malatia.

Supreme Leader of Malatia, General Hytler, was present along with other top Malatian military commanders to witness the military parade.

In his speech, General Hytler declared the possibility of war in the region because of aggressive behaviours by Malatian neighbours.

"As a regional power, we have traditional rights over the states in this region," announced Gen. Hytler. "We are not afraid of the United Nations or any international organisations," he added.

The modernization of Malatian military is taking place in the backdrop of increasing regional tension between Malatia and its neighbours over several issues.
