More Aid to Brikvania

King Arius received King Brik II in the Royal Palace.

King Arius has announced that Legonia will provide more financial assistance to the Brikvanian government, which is facing financial difficulties. 

The announcement was made in a joint press conference by the Head of State of Legonia and Brikvania.

The Brikvanian government is facing a budget deficit of about $1.5 billion Brick dollars in the current fiscal year.  The current debt crisis has pushed the government to cut the imports of meats, especially chickens, which are crucial to traditional Brikvanian dishes for the upcoming Christmas season.

The Legonian government has also promised to provide more military aid to Brikvania. The Legonian Defence Ministry announced that 16 Harpoon anti-ship missile launchers and 32 missiles will be donated to the Brikvanian Navy.

However, the economic crisis has pushed Brikvania to the edge of bankruptcy, with many civil servants going without pay for about 2 months now.

Many analysts blame the economic crisis to the poor management of the Brikvanian government, and also the short war between Legonia and Brikvania.  It was estimated the war had caused about $2 billion Bricks dollars in damages to infrastructures.
