NARTO Destroyed Malatian Air Forces

Malatian Air Force suffers the worst single day losses yesterday when 90 of its warplanes were either shot down or destroyed on the ground in a 24 hours period.

About 80 Malatian warplanes took part in a large scale air offensive at around 8 pm last night. 45 of these warplanes were shot down by Kingdom of Lego air defence guns and missiles.

The Republic of Malatia Air Force (RMAF) launched the largest air offensive to break the stalemate at the frontline. Malatian ground forces advances were halted outside Fort Lego for the past few weeks and have suffered heavy losses in trying to capture the city. The Royal Armed Forces of Lego (RAFL) troops have also conducted fierce counter offensives in recent days, with more than 23,000 Malatian troops killed and another 20,000 wounded.

The Malatian air offensive started at about 6 am. Air raid sirens were sounded throughout the Kingdom of Lego as anti-airfraft guns lit up the sky. RAFL surface to air missile (SAM) batteries also launched several missiles towards their targets.

The tight air defence system around key cities in the Kingdom of Lego proved deadly to the Malatians. 23 Malatian warplanes were shot down from the sky within the first hour of battles. Another 22 were shot down during the second Malatian air offensive.

RAFL warplanes struck back and attacked Malatian airfields throughout Malatia, destroying more than 45 Malatian warplanes on the ground. The RMAF possesses hundreds of warplanes, but the majority are old and obsolete although they have gone upgrading exercises several times to extend their lifespan.

"NARTO has a complete control of the sky across the region," said a Kingdom of Lego Defence Ministry spokesman.
