NARTO Officials Met In Kingdom of Lego

Military commanders from the NARTO member-states met in Legotown, the capital city of the Kingdom of Lego, to consult and discuss the next move in the face of Malatian military aggression.

The two days meeting will focus on counter measures to meet the Malatian military aggression, especially along the Equanter-Malatia border.

The Kingdom of Equanter has requested for additional NARTO military forces to be based inside its territory. Equanter has some 18,000 troops, which is small when compared against the 800,000 strong Malatian army.

The Kingdom of Lego has already deployed 5,000 troops inside Equanter. However Equanter has requested up to 20,000 additional NARTO troops for an effective defence could be made in case of a war with Malatia.

Other NARTO members have not yet deployed their troops in Equanter. The Kingdom of Fabu and Caledon have just started mobilising their armed forces for a war with Malatia.

Meanwhile, the Kingdom of Lego has scrambled its jet fighters yesterday when a large formation of Malatian warplanes was detected flying towards the Equanterian airspace. 

According to the Kingdom of Lego Defence Ministry: " 16 Malatian warplanes were detected by our radar late last night at 10 pm moving towards Equanter's airspace. Immediately fighters from the 101 Air Combat Squadron were sent to meet the Malatian formation."
