NARTO Troops Massing Along Malatian Border

400,000 NARTO (Non-Aggression Royalists Treaty Organisation) troops, backed by  thousand of tanks and armoured vehicles, are massing along the border with Malatia. On the other side of the border, the Malatians have also strengthened their defensive lines, known as the Magnito Line. ​

The NARTO troops are from the armed forces of the Kingdoms of Lego, Equanter and Fabu. The Kingdom of Caledon, a member of the NARTO military alliance, meanwhile has deployed a large armada of warships with 15,000 marines, ready to be landed on the northern beaches of Malatia.

"The invasion of Malatia will take place anytime soon. We expect to defeat the Malatian forces along the border within 72 hours," said an Equanterian military spokesman.

NARTO has also announced that Malatia will be partitioned into two territories after being occupied. A new Kingdom of Brikvania will be created on the western part of Malatia. 5,000 ethnic Brikvanians have been trained inside the Kingdom of Lego by NARTO troops and they will form the nucleus for the new Brikvanian Army.

Inside Malatia, the mood has been sombre. Many residents have fled to the countryside to avoid the anticipated bombing of major cities across the country. The Malatian leadership has been on edge, and many suspected opposition members and ethnic Brikvanians have been captured by government forces and put inside prison.

Members of the Greater Malatian Party have been trained to participate in the war against NARTO. Field Marshall Nutyubrick, Commander of all Malatian forces, has been busy visiting defensive positions around the city of Maltia. 

" We are not afraid of NARTO," said Field Marshall Nutyubrick. "We are a great nation and our armed forces are the most powerful in the region," he added.

Malatia has rejected all calls for it to surrender and allow NARTO troops to enter the country.
