New Anti-Aircraft Equipment for Air Defence

Malatia has supplied 24 latest anti-aircraft guns to the Kingdom of Brikvania. The delivery is covered under the friendship agreement signed between the two countries.

Observers believed that the delivery of the anti-aircraft guns will strengthen the Brikvanian air defence. 

The ZAP-4 Mark 1 anti-aircraft guns are manufactured by the Malatian Technology Industry. These guns have automatic tracking and target acquisition system, and could hit targets up to 4 km away.  

Bnrikvania has requested military assistance from Malatia as the small kingdom is facing military threats from the Kingdom of Lego. Two Malatian installed radar stations in the southern part of Brikvania were recently destroyed by suspected air strike by the Kingdom of Lego warplanes.

"We are expecting more assistance from Malatia to beef up our air defence, in view of the threats from Legos air force," said Major Welsays, a spokesman for the Brikvanian Defence Ministry.

Several of the anti-aircraft guns were deployed around the Brikvania airport and Brown Castle, the seat of the Brikvanian Government. It was also reported that Malatia will likely provide more system and weapons to overhaul the Brikvanian air defence system that is lacking in radar and tracking capabilities.

The Kingdom of Lego's Prime Minister Office has condemned the delivery of ZAP-4 Mark 1 anti aircraft gun as a provocation. "The Kingdom of Lego reserves the right to destroy these weapons," said a spokesman for Prime Minister Wingo.
