New Escort Vehicles for Security Service

The Royal Security Service (RSS) has been renamed as the Royal Security Directorate (RSD). Its main function is to provide Legonia with domestic and foreign intelligence capabilities. The RSD reports directly to the Prime Minister Office.

The RSD also perform security and escort duties for the Legonian Royal Family, and members of the Legonian cabinet.

The Prime Minister Office announced that the RSD has purchased several new escort vehicles from a local car manufacturer, Breep. About 8 Breep vehicles have arrived at the RSD main office in Legotown.

These vehicles are spacious enough to accommodate two heavily armed officers. There are spaces to store weapons and communication equipment. 

​According to a report, these vehicles will be used for escorting the Royal Family, the Prime Minister and the Defence Minister. Other ministers are considered low-risk and will have fewer protection officers assigned to them.

RSD officers are also deployed to guard the Royal Palace, the Prime Minister Office and his residence. They are backed by heavily armed police officers from the Royal Police Service (RPS).

Some RSD units are also deployed overseas.  A team of 25 RSD officers are employed by the Equanterian government to provide security for the kingdom's Prime Minister.
