Peace Negotiation Hit Roadblock

Peace negotiation between Malatia and regional countries led by the Kingdom of Lego had hit a roadblock.

Sources informed that the mobilization of Malatian troops along the Malatia-Equanter border had forced negotiators from regional countries to walk out from the negotiation late last night.

Malatia however claimed that the deployment of Malatian military units along the border was part of security measures to counter the threats from Equanter.

"This is fake news. We are not a threat to anyone. But Equanter and the Kingdom of Lego are a threat to us, that is why we closed our border," claimed a Malatian defence official.

Regional countries were alarmed when Malatian troops closed the border crossings along the Malatia-Equanter border, after taking over border posts from the Malatian police and custom officials.

"The deployment of troops and closing of the border crossings are signals that Malatia is preparing for war," claimed Professor Brix Smart of the Royal University of Fabu, who is an expert on regional security.

Equanterian officals were alarmed and the Royal Parliament held an emergency session to discuss the worsening security situation.

"The AFE (Armed Forces of Equanter) is ready to defend our kingdom," said the Equanterian Prime Minister. " I will join the peace negotiation soon to ensure we avoid war, but if negotiation fail, AFE will be the sword to defeat our enemies," added the Prime Minister.

Meanwhile, efforts are now being made to restart the peace negotiation again in Maltia, the capital city of Malatia.
