Police Commissioner Happy As Crime Rate Dips

A drop in crime rate leads to a smiling happy Police Commissioner. However he forgot to shave.

The Brikvanian Police Commissioner expressed his happiness that the crime rate has dropped in the past 6 months.

Commissioner Prince Lawe was interviewed in a BBS programe, BrickTalk.

"Our crime rate is good. In February this year we have 188 cases of large bricks being stolen. The number of cases has dropped to 25 in July. We suspected some of the stolen bricks were used to build new houses", said Commissioner Lawe.

The drop in crime rate is attributed to better policing strategy, as the Royal Brikvanian Police Force (RBPS) are now using new MOC cars for patrol duties, and could cover more areas.

Commissioner Lawe added: " We are recruiting more new officers so that I can open more police stations and posts along the border with Malatia".

On future crime trend, Commissioner Lawe stated that the RBPS has observed more smaller bricks were being stolen in the past two months. He pledged that the detectives in RBPS will work hard to catch the culprits.

"I know they are allegations of my detectives spending more time on donuts and coffee instead of solving crime, but they need to eat and drink too. And these donuts were donated by the public to my officers and it is rude to reject the donuts", said Commissioner Lawe.
