Police Cornered City Bank Robbers

The two robbers responsible for the attempted robbery of City Bank Head Office were cornered and killed by police after a high speed chase along M-1 Highway yesterday.

It was believed the Police had set up ambush near the town of Smallville after receiving information that the robbers were planning to escape to Malatia. Elite officers from Police-Counter Assault Teams (PCATS) were also deployed.

However the two robbers driving a stolen red colour taxi spotted police detectives outside Smallville and tried to escape the Police ambush. However the taxi they were in overturned. Both robbers exchanged fire with the Police before they were gunned down by PCATS officers.

The Police Commissioner was happy as the crime has been solved. To reward the officers involved in the successful operation to nab the robbers, the Commissioner's Office announced the officers will be given free donuts and ice cream for the next one week.
