President Xitin Delivered Policy Speech

President Xitin on National TV delivering his address to the nation.

President Xitin of Malatia has announced a major policy shift in his first address to the nation. 

"We are continuing to reform the armed forces and will produce more advance offensive weapons. But importantly, the military will be renamed to reflect their responsibility as the defender of the people. 

"With immediate effect, our armed forces will be known as Malatian People's Liberation Army (M-PLA). The Navy is renamed as Malatian People's Liberation Navy (M-PLAN), and the air force as Malatian People's Liberation Air Force (M-PLAF)."

President Xitin said that Malatia will continue to expand its air force and navy, but will also invest in more offensive-oriented weapon. 

"We cannot afford to be on the defensive. A strong nation requires a strong military with offensive capabilities. Under Field Marshal Nutyubrick, we have designed and were building newer warships. Our tanks forces will be expanded with new armoured and additional units. Our air force will receive Mag-35  5th generation warplanes soon."

Xitin also told his citizens that: "I will also spend more on economic and welfare for Malatians. We will have a strong armed forces for our defence, but a strong economy for our citizens' welfare".

The conscription period for the military will be shortened to 3 years from the current 4 years, but these troops will receive high tech training.

Xitin also announced the establishment of a Cyberwarfare unit as part of Malatian defence strategy.  The personnel will be made up of hackers and military personnel.

"We will go for greater height, and greater victory. The armed forces will deliver the Malatian dreams to us", said President Xitin as he ended his speech.
