Prime Minister Announces New Cabinet

The Prime Minister of Legonia, Sir Winston Mofty, announced that there could be a cabinet reshuffling soon. 

The cabinet reshuffling will likely take place soon as the economic crisis facing the kingdom and across the region has worsened partly due to the effect of Brickvids-19 virus pandemic.

"The Prime Minister is closely consulting with King Arius on the direction for the kingdom", said a Prime Minister Office spokesman.

As the economic situation has turned for the worse, the Prime Minister is exploring the idea of expanding the cabinet to include more economists. The current constitution however limits the number of ministers in the cabinet. 

The Prime Minister had considered a drastic measure of cutting down the defence budget. However, he faces resistance from the military.

A Defence Ministry spokesman announced a few days ago that the defence budget is not be reduced. Legonia currently has a large defence budget, which include the costs for overseas deployment in some of the regional countries.
