Reconstruction Works on Brikvania To Begin Soon

King Brik II announced that the Brikvanian Royal Government will spend about $1.2 billion Brick dollars to rebuild the Kingdom's infrastructures that were damaged during the recent war with the Kingdom of Lego.

His Excellency added that half of the budget will be paid by the Kingdom of Lego.

"Many infrastructures such as bridges, public toilets and public buildings were destroyed by the invaders. We need to repair them quickly", said Prince Aragon, the Minister of Defence and Internal Security.

"Members of the Armed Forces of Brikvania will also be deployed to reconstruct the kingdom", added Prince Aragon.

There is an urgent need to rebuild Brikvanian military installations which were damaged by the Legos air attacks. Several Brikvanian radar sites and army barracks were completely destroyed.

The Malatian Province within the Kingdom of Brikvania has requested more money from the central government in Briktown to rebuild public infrastructures as it was badly hit during the conflict. Four hospitals and clinics were totally destroyed, along with 15 bridges.

There are unhappiness within the Malatian Province as the residents perceived that the Brikvanian army has failed to protect the province adequately during the war with the Kingdom of Lego.

"All air defence equipment were deployed around Briktown, leaving us defenceless and at the mercy of the invaders", said a local official.

King Brik II announced that he will meet with the Governors of the Legolis and Malatian province soon to work out the reconstruction budget needed for reconstruction work.
