Riots Against Wingo Spread Across Cities

About 90 people were injured in riots throughout the Kingdom of Lego last night. The riots took place after Prime Minister Rito Wingo refused to resign after he was impeached by parliament for corruption and war crime charges.

The Police Commissioner has announced additional curfew to curb the riots .

Some 5,000 people had gathered outside the Prime Minister official residence at No 88 Dawson Gate at 7 pm.  Rito Wingo has been holed up in the residence with his advisers after the impeachment.

The crowd was demanding for Wingo to resign, and for the current war with Brikvania to cease. 

The crowd was chanting against Wingo when suddenly some men tried to climb the fences around Wingo's official residence. The riot police used tear gas and water cannon to push the crowd away.

Riots then took place around the city, with businesses with links to Wingo and his cronies being targeted. 

Additional riot police were brought in as the riot spread to other parts of the city.  By 10 Pm, the police declared a state of emergency in the city and imposed additional curfew.

Armed police officers were seen patrolling the streets at night, and roadblocks were set up at several critical places.
